      <content:encoded><![CDATA[and like Moras? I made this sheath left handed and it&#039;s a little too snug for an ESEE 4 but fits a Mora nicely. <br />
<br />
Might work with an RB3 as well. <br />
<br />
It&#039;s a 4/10 sheath. Couple stitches messed up. Edge is funky. Missed the stitch inlay on the backside when I made my holes. But it&#039;s solid and would make a good beater. <br />
<br />
Wanna give it to someone who will get use from it and not just have to trash it myself.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[With Blade HQ&#039;s free shipping this week I ordered another E AH-1 making 2 ill have on hand.<br />

A thought struck me about a fun experimental  project;  what if I could make a tomahawk type weapon using 2 AH-1 Arrowheads, one on each side.  I would have to have the stick with the head covering the two points on each one so if it goes into something soft, the points dont get stuck and I couldn&#039;t pull it out. <br />
<br />
Also, I don&#039;t know the best way to attach them securely using the holes in the shafts...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I have a skull logo Laser Strike coming in tomorrow morning and I’m planning to convex the edge, etch the logo, strip and sand, then either patina or blue the blade. Unfortunate nobody around me sells ferric chloride. Could I simmer down vinegar to a more concentrated form and etch the logos with that? It would an overnight coffee etch do the trick? I’d like the logos protected for when I sand the primer off after stripping. Thanks!]]></content:encoded>

I just got this kit because it’s stainless steel versus the other 2 military surplus ones I’ve had in the past that were made in aluminum.  <br />
<br />
I made a quick and simple cover without a sewing machine, but next time I need to learn how to sew.  <br />
<br />
it’s ugly and I doubt the draw string seam at the top will last and when it fails, I’ll ask someone to help me out and sew the seam for me.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Been working on this for awhile but I think I got most of the bugs worked out. I wanted a mix between an edc folder and a true hard use folder. I like button locks so that’s what I went with but it has a brass pin to solidify the blade for batoning and chopping. <br />

Blade is 8670hc, button lock is a 5/16” drill bit, liners are from an old carpenter saw blade, 1/4” pivot, 3/16” stop pin, bronze washers, micarta spacer and scales, brass lock pin and a ZT pocket clip. <br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[So, I&#039;m thinking of getting another AH1 Arrowhead to mount on my E5 sheath but don&#039;t want to spend over 2X the cost of the Arrowhead.<br />

Is it possible to make a kydex-like sheath using PVC or the black pipes, not sure of the name of it?  Figured I could warm it to soften, put the Arrowhead between the 2 halves and press with a stiff closed cell foam to secure tightly.<br />

I made it into a neck carry configuration, with the help of my wazoo inspired viking whet stone fire kit. it&#039;s amazing this little pouch can hold all this stuff, peanut lighter, small flashlight from olight, letherman squirt, handcuff key, wazoo tinder card, swiss army nail trimmer, titanium whistle, small pencil sharpener for feathering small sticks into good dry tinder.
