3D printed scales

    Because the scales of my Victorinox Huntsman got messed up in the bottom of my pack :(
    I did an experiment today.. 3D Printed new scales at work (Ultimaker S3)

    It's the plus scales, so need to hunt down a pin and pen to fit in them too

    They're press fit, just like the originals

    I did't get a perfect flush fit, maybe I didn't remove the support material far enough from the mounting holes. :(

    I'd be nice to see more printed scales collected in this thread if you guys have some :)

    If possible include a link to the model and your thoughts on the outcome.

    You use to be able to buy a really nice pattern off of ETSY. There was a big time scale maker that was going out of business and a ton of people bought the pattern. I would search there and see if you can find it. I think it was something like $4.99

    I would guess that probably 75 % of the custom SAK scales off Etsy use that pattern.
