So, I'm thinking of getting another AH1 Arrowhead to mount on my E5 sheath but don't want to spend over 2X the cost of the Arrowhead.

Is it possible to make a kydex-like sheath using PVC or the black pipes, not sure of the name of it? Figured I could warm it to soften, put the Arrowhead between the 2 halves and press with a stiff closed cell foam to secure tightly.

    What's ya think? Thanks

Yes, you can. You can also buy small pieces of kydex on Amazon. The hardest part of working with these plastics is cutting them without a scroll saw.

    Black pipe is probably abs.

I watched a dude on YouTube years ago, I don't remember what he was making. He heated PVC on a gas grill. I don't think he was working on a PVC bow, but I've watched some of those videos too.

Some plastics are going to perform better than others, Kydex obviously closer to optimum, $10-12 on ebay for a 12x12. I've done some farmer engineering on pipe with a lighter so no doubt you can make it work, looking forward to seeing what you end up with.
