We had a short camping trip over the last couple of days. Visited 2 sites in the hillier parts of the Netherlands. Borders are closed for fun trips due to covid, so no travelling though Europe this time. Fits stop, Epen, in the south of the Netherlands near the Belgium border Old watermill in the "Geul" river Chateau "Beusdael", just across the Belgium border Border marked with landmarks like this, one side Belgium, the other side the Netherlands. Coffee break Running in the hilla was big fun and challenging when used to running on flat terrain only On memorial day we visited a nearby war cemetery with mostly Canadian soldiers who helped liberate out country in WW2 Hilly surroundings in the "Rijk of Nijmegen", very uncommon to find such 'heights' in my country Guinness was having a good time out in the woods About 70km of hiking and 50 km of running (guessing about 1200m of ascent total) over the week we were out camping in our van.
Great photos! That border doesn't seem to be very well guarded , you should see ours with Turkey Fence, barbed wire, guys with AKs and a few kilometres of jungle with wild, wild boars
