Goooood morning everybody. In lieu on my next review/ project for our forums here, just wondering if anyone has a user carbon Garberg that they’d want to let go for around $35-$40. Gotta be carbon. The plan is to compare performance to my brand new one from Amazon, and then test the corrosion resistance to other steels. I would also be willing to discuss trades if someone is interested in letting one go. I know the handle isn’t for everyone so I’m trying my luck.
I know it sounds crazy to say I wanna compare performance but I’ve heard that the edge lasts much better after numerous sharpenings. I’ve always wanted to test head to head whether the heat treat just below the factory apex is THAT much different.
