I understand that the orange jelly fungi are edible, completely bland, but takes on whatever flavor or seasoning you cook it with. But I AM NOT an expert...so DO NOT take my advice
Picky eaters have to be careful around my fire, the soup may contain any number of thing I found or plucked from a mosquito infested swamp....but I leave the fungus alone. I just don't have the knowledge about it like I do green plants. Always wanted to spend a day with Chris Nygeres(?) or Mr. Gibbons to have those experts point out what could or could not be eaten.
Nice looking fungi, looks like if you stayed in that area to long you would begin to grow some on yourself.
@Bushman5 -- is bilingual. Can you believe he was identifying those tracks by their Yiddish (or Latin or hmmm) names?
Mushrooms are always cool to find; they're so interesting looking. Which ones do you eat to see the lyrics to "White Room?"
