Couple weeks ago
I caught a break today, I had an hour 1/2 to go sit on my deer stand. I watched a huggee doe and then she was joined by a skinny lil spike, thru the scope of my favorite Savage. There's no way to describe the cool air, the feel of the checkering under your hand, or the contentment of watching these graceful...almost ghost like creatures in the slowly fading light.
I just sat..and watched. Never thumbed the safety...
If I could find a way to capture that, to "document " it, I'd be a gazillionaire 10 times over. I could buy all the cool knives, and packs, and axes, that seem to populate the ( ahem) " bushcraft world".

Been abit busy this past week
Charity turkey shoot this past Sunday to raise money for Christmas bicycles for less fortunate kids (forgot to take pics)
Monday and Tuesday helped with renovations at the local watering hole

Wednesday went grocery shopping for pork cost me 80¢ but I got change back
Thursday took her to the butcher and tended to the garden
Everglades tomato plant that came up voluntarily is taking over the herbs area, yeah I've got tomatoes growing in late November
Friday and today helped my dad hang/fit the rebuilt windows on the garden room.

One of the MANY thermal areas in Yellowstone. This one is on the Yellowstone River, it was in the low teens so it gave off a lot of steam of course.
