Well im jealous...
Night hiking locally. Ran into lots of scorpions. Took pics of the biggest ones.
Not so fortunate as to see any larger ones. Area is loaded with gekkos though. Caught a Long Nose snake last time in the same area, and I've ran into bunches of rattlers and Sonoran gopher snakes around the trail as well, just not this time. During the day there are often quite a few chuckwalla on the mountain. I'll hit it up soon and see if I can find any

Early morning wake up at 3:45am young lady zigged instead of zagged and wound up in the lake in our back yard next to the dead cedar tree
Pulled her car out with the tractor to keep the young boys from tearing up both the car and my folks lawn, plus preventing them from getting them from getting their dodge dually from getting stuck as well.
After getting a few more hours sleep harvested some veggies from the garden
Then off to a "turkey shoot"
Nothing like a bunch of rednecks drinking and shooting shotguns, good all American fun

Took an after work, morning ride with a friend for his annual hay run.
Before diesel trucks were trendy.

It was good. Tight bales and quality hay. Plus we only needed a hundred so it was quick and easy.
After watering the garden I cleaned up in front of my cabin
