Got out for a little sleigh ride before dinner tonight:
love those Clydesdale's.
Went for a walk in the prairie today and got a few cool pics of the bison herd.
Was near the home today, but far enough out to grab some brittle bush for tea, and mallow for eating.
Last thirty minutes before sunset.
Didn’t happen today, but had birds cupped and on final approach. Something in the set flared them. Probably my lack of cover.
Hiking out to some petroglyphs with friends
In S/E Arizona hiking and looking for some yucca stock.
Great day in the desert!
Grand Tetons overlooking the Snake River. (Actually a few days ago)
Hanging in the snow with friends. Was a cool hang out. My friend Justin Cook did a knapping demo for us.
2nd weekend in a row , in bed all weekend, on and off. Missed two weekends plus some stat holidays of woods time due to burn out (work, hate living on the city, etc)
Was super sunny and cold all weekend too....perfect woods weather.
Is the pack hanging on the tree a hpg tamahara with a Tuff possum pouch?
Looks like it.
Yessir! You nailed it!
That's a great looking combo. I'm still torn between it and the unlimdi.
Hey! Looks like you were in my neck of the woods. Hope it treated you well!
I generally love going to the range this time of year. Even on a Saturday when it's open to the public, I had it completely to myself.
The only time I go to our closest outdoor public range is when it's raining or extremely cold or hot. Keeps the crowds and riff-raff away. Plus I like shooting under less than desirable conditions.
Agreed. The bad guys don't stop what they're doing for bad weather, and neither should we.
Luckily my range is private Mon-Fri. The only time I go on "public" days is when it's crappy out and the yay-hoos are generally not that committed.
Boat testing, still having trouble with the output shaft/universal connection coming loose. When I put in to tighten things up did some scouting while waiting for it to cool down and found a few treasures.
Theres some history there.
