Thats awesome!!!!! Looks like a great place to climb!
It's nice because it's always deserted. I don't think 90% of the members here even know the room exits.
And some of the holds aren't actually attached very well so it accurately mimics the sandstone we have locally.
Right now I'm infatuated with the rope and seeing how many times I can climb it up and down, without falling off and knocking myself unconscious. My wife and daughter are across the hall doing yoga. I told them if they didn't hear a thud every once in a while they might want to come check on me.
Just hiking around looking at plants today.
After a day in the woods.......
This place is in the middle of nowhere, but it is very widely known to the rest of the world (except for me).
It’s the Moonshine Gultch Saloon in South Dakota
You left handed?
No sir. But good eye.
Not today but two days back...
Time to start putting a dent in the Christmas caloric intake....
what bike ya rocking ? btw wicked pic.
there is a loius Garneau fat bike for sale down the road from me $2500 CAD, looks decently specced (wheelwise). I want a fat bike (buying in 2019) , would love a Surly or similar but i'm not spending $7 - 8000 for one.
Iv'e been on a Salsa Blackborow for couple seasons now. Love that frame - perfect blend of trail geo to make things fun but still good for all-day cranking miles. Unfortunately, they don't make that frame any more - the Blackborow has morphed into something quite different in Salsa's current line up.
A Surly fat bike is $7-$8k in Canada?!? Holy crap!
Have you checked out the Rocky Mountain 'Blizzard?"
Just hiking. Looked (and felt) like rain, but the desert is fickle when it comes to precipitation.
Today I was in 1997...
Ignore the reflection of the wife's non period correct station wagon.
There's something about riding a bike on snow in the woods that I still find kinda surreal, even after years of doing it....
Still in the woods.
The view from the top. Went up a gully with a lot of very loose and snow cover rocks to get here.
Playing around with the RB3
Glamour shot of the daily carry.
Probably doesn't count like the woods pictures, but proof I do get out of the living room or classroom occasionally.
(was filmed in 4K video - but Youtube is throttling the quality )
Set up a figure 4 in my yard, part of the 1 knife challenge on bcusa. Thought I would make it more "challenging " by using this 1055 recurve machete. . ( getting this bugger to stand up in after the 4-5" of rain in 24 hours....interesting.)
I was going to take a hike this morning but temp with wind chill is running around -7 degrees. Decided to stay with the wood stove today.
