seriously considering this pack for when i go hunting with my buddy. We live out of our packs for several days. https://www.jayjaysbrecon.co.uk/jayjays-jungle-bergan-multicam-c2x22244222
The next white whale when it comes to gear is an EDC bag. Figured it would be easy to find what I'm looking for, but apparently not so much; my preferences don't exactly go with the norm. Best candidate right now is the HPG Aston House. Runner up is the Aston House BC.
New Etowah sil nylon tarp setup Battery bank Primitive archery setup Badger claw leather works sheaths for everything lol Finalized some gear for my dog Lester river boreal shirt MOST OF ALL THE ESEE CARVING AXE!!!!
60,000 lumens of light....the new Acebeam X70. So powerful it requires a high speed cooling fan powered by its own 18650 li-ion battery to cool the LEDS. Main battery pack of 8 x Panasonic hi capacity 18650 li-ions. https://www.warriorsandwonders.com/Acebeam/Acebeam_X70_Searchlight_60_000_Lumens Figure i skim off $50 every payday, plus whatever change i throw into the coffee can vault, and I can get this by around Aug 2019.
Was thinking about this today. Really all I need this year is... #1 New hiking boots #2 Mystery Ranch daypack #3 Gibson axe. #4 Back seat sleeping platform and privacy shades for all windows.
My gear wish list grows by the day. -HPG kit bag to try out -New base layers -Larger folding knife -A safe CCW solution on my SAR vest -Tarp and camping gear upgrades -More comfortable headlamp -A boys or forest size axe -New sleep pad -The perfect IFAK pouch

Been wanting to get a Z-Packs Dyneema 8.5x10 Tarp for a while. Lived outa one of there tents for two months strait, but would love the carry-ability of a 6.4 ounce tarp. Have also been looking at single person tents from TarpTent. But will probably only get one of those if/when I have a big trip coming up. Eventually a HPG Umlindi will be had as well (hard to justify though as I have a London Bridge 72 hour that I use for the same purpose) Would really like a super solid US made folder. Something from DPx, Southern Grind, Houge, or Emerson would fit the bill
- More cast iron, it’s all we really cook with. Specifically, a Dutch oven. - To get drawn for deer and elk this year—rolling old school 54 Cal stink stick/muzzleloader this year. - HK P30 9mm for my wife, nice gun and it fits her well. - Izula II to round my collection, I’m sure they’ll be more. - HPG pack and kit bag for scouting/hunting. - Boreal shirt. - Gear: complete my med kit (have GI IFAK/mine, Cat Tourniquet, mixed dressings and bandages, trauma shears), bivvy sack, fire starter (ferro rod), titan survivor cord..too much to list. I’ve spent my life outside, yet I’m such a newb at this. I’ve always kept a case of water, another jacket, space blanket, woobie and fresh GI MRE’s in my truck. The basics I guess. I’ve learned quite a bit from you guys so my list has grown considerably.
