did you get the upper and lower plates machined? what aluminum? heat treated? tested? certified? that is a nice unit. low tech design yet high tech functional!

What wood is in the flag cutting board? did you just glue it or use biscuits or other joining method? Beautiful work.
Just glue and reverse grain. No biscuits, dowels, or tenons. Quilted maple, cherry, and walnut. Thanks.
Nothing exciting but I designed and fabricated a self returning steel target for the range. It's primed right now for rust resistance but I will be painting it later on
I made a very modern version of something used a lot in the Vietnam War. HOWEVER: I am waiting for a member here to see it first and see if they want first dibs on making it. its really cool, extremely light and functional, and has more features than the Vietnam era item.
