That's a tough one. Like you said, most of them are geared towards cards.

I don't think the micro can hold a lot of cash. The Spartan could, but it damn sure isn't a minimalist wallet. It takes up the majority of my pocket!

I had a spartan, and it was decent, but the bill slot was about 1/2" too short and excessively tall.

I have an extra Maxpedition Micro in tan and an Esee Izula gear wallet somebody is welcome to if interested. Both are lightly used but still in excellent condition.

Got this one for Christmas and love it. Now my right cheek doesn't go to sleep when I sit because this fits right into a front cargo pocket so nicely :

The micro showed up today. Definitely should have ordered this one the first time around. Now I gotta figure out what to do with the Spartan.

I've been using fossil bifold leather wallets for years. They tend to last a while for me, but they get thick quick and make me feel like a polio victim if I sit on it too long. I honestly wish pelican would make a water tight wallet modeled after their black cases.

I can't quite remember, maybe in the $70 range? Pretty heavy duty, leather looks to be in the 8-9oz range veg. tan.

I usually carry the Recycled Firefighter The Rookie, not quite as minimalist as the Sargeant but I like them. Today I'm carrying my Pointer Brand made by Dark's Designs in TN. Interior is leather with a full width money area & 8 credit card pockets. Really slim but will hold a lot. I've had this one a few years now, carried for 2 years daily, held up well & still looks almost new. I really like the fact both are made in the USA & this one in TN. Out of stock right now but they periodically return.

I use a SOE wallet. I like it but am thinking about something smaller.

I've tried every tactical wallet out there and hated all of them, sent most back quickly, and I think I tried all of them, Maxpedition, Vanquest, 3 different SpecOps, etc.. The problem I had with all of them is they were too large or too thick. The Recycled Firefighter The Rookie is my favorite wallet right now, I think I own 6 of them in all different colors, yes I'm OCD. They are fairly small but will hold a ton, here 4 cards on the right, 4 ID's on the left plus my emergency stash folded behind that, other bills on the outside readily accessible without having to worry about dropping a card out and losing it while accessing cash. Cards will not just fall out due to the design, something I worry about with many wallet designs including the Pointer Brand I posted above. These have held up great so far, own both combat leather & firehose versions. This is the firehose in red. Made in USA and love that. Jake, the owner is absolutely great to deal with and ships extremely fast. You can get them in a bunch of colors or materials including camo versions. Also love the Captain, a full size wallet I bought from them and use when traveling. All are more minimalist approach which I love. The Sargeant is really minimalist, too much so for me but if you carry light, it's great.
