@DYSPHORIC JOY IDK.. Most of the ammo at W Mart was close to 50 percent or more off when I was there tonight Of course not in any caliber I could use....
Yah... I wish! There was a lot of .45 and .40 left but i have neither.... The ammo trade is rather stagnant around here.. So no guarantees i could have done any good wheeling and Dealing...
Just did pretty well, federal aluminum 9mm 200 round packs for 17 dollars. .45 Winchester white box jhps (my p220 loves these) $7 dollars a box. Winchester .45 colt 20 round boxs for 12 dollars a box. I could have spent a lot more but I'm moving right after the holidays and I am trying to avoid moving a bunch of ammo.
Did I miss something? Is Walmart discontinuing ammo sales? I should make a trip by, but probably too late now.
I'll try to avoid being political, basically they are discontinuing selling "non-sporting" ammunition, so no more pistol or popular semi automatic rifle rounds like .223/5.56, 7.62x39 and .300 black out (because no one uses any of those for hunting)
https://eseeknives.com/forums/index...lling-alcohol-and-tobacco-other-things.10516/ Details in the link at the bottom of the above post. I tried to be "entertaining instead of just factual" (UK Top Gear fans might get the joke) so the thread got locked.
The 2 local W Marts have all pistol ammo except .22 ammo and most of the rifle ammo except 30-30 30-06 and 270 on sale. No shotgun ammo on sale. The take away is if you need rifle or pistol ammo it might be worth a trip to W mart sooner then later. It has apparently been going on for about 2 days.
