While on vacation my father in law (papa) wanted to take my little girl to a trout farm where you catch it and they cook it for you. So we made it to this little ramshackle looking little place, but the people were super nice and they had a nice little trout pond. She got to catch her first trout and I caught a few for lunch. They took them straight from us to clean them and cook them The food was great.
mtngoat that is just awesome! We need ( like really NEED) more munchkins that want to be outside doing stuff. I tip the hat to you man. (And Ma'am. )
Great job Dad !! Some of my fondest memories are my son and I catching brookies and having them with scrambled eggs right beside the creek.
