THE WALKING DEAD...

I too am not very thrilled with this season. Hopefully it gets better.

 

I think you all forget how boring most of season 2 was. That's how the show works. Big intro, followed by lots of boring filler episodes. Then usually a big midway surprise, more filler episodes. Then big action ending.

 

I will say this, Daryl has a set of balls the size of watermelons. When Negan swung his bat at Daryl's head I almost fell off the couch getting out of the way for him. His eyelid didn't even twitch.

That was good theater.

 

That was take 32. He puked on take 1.

 

I truly believe @kreeves should not just be banned, he needs to be beaten by Lucille for posting that faulking song.

 

I've started playing it just to piss my kids off. It works.

 

Love that song! lol Talk about some psychological ****. I know people are not liking this season, but we're all glued to the TV every Sunday night watching it...

 

I'm liking it. Episode 2 started off as a WTF are they thinking ! When I saw the "king" and "cgi tiger". After a little bit of FF it got ok. Episode 3, I enjoyed.

Episode 4 was good. Tense. Negan ruling with an iron fist. Should be interesting to see what happens down the road.

 

The directors sure seem to be setting Negan up for a "payback" to rival the end of time. Have you ever seen a more distasteful, ruthless, bad guy? Sheesh.

Serious questions about my favorite silly TV show? Why does Michone get to keep her sword? If you wanted to break someone's spirit, I'm just saying. I didn't rewind to verify but the slug Rosita picked up was a .50 cal I thought. But the gun she recovered was not a Desert Eagle or am I wrong?

 

Looked like a Beretta or a Baby Eagle, I didn't get a close look, the spent casing was a .357.

 

It looked like a .50AE to me. Rick is Neegan's bitch now and I just don't know what to think of that....

 

You had to figure that at some point "Elvis" was going to contribute something to the group. Munitions manufacturer?

 

Except Rick is "tough" enough to handle that level of humiliation. But what's going to happen is Negan going to piss off more and more dudes. You can see it among his own people. I can see that burnt face dude allying with Daryl and taking out Kegan. In fact, that's the usual Hollywood predictability. Who knows what the writers have in store.

Negan seems to understand Rick. Understands that he needs to keep him broke or he will be a threat. It's pretty obvious Negan is afraid of Rick.

 

That's pretty clever thinking. I must have stopped reading the comics shortly before that point

 

So this thread has been dead the last few weeks. Anyone still awake during the last few episodes?

 

I am on life support at the moment. It is close to making Fear the Walking Dead a better alternative.
