The Mud heads East (photo heavy)

Having been cooped up for a long while now, I needed a vacation, some fresh air, and time to see some old friends.

So I headed East to see the ESEE crew, and hangout during the Advanced bushclass.
I became a little captivated by the cool trees out there, so you'll see a lot of photos of just that.

You know your back in Los Angeles when there is a traffic jam with air planes.

 

Great stuff and glad you came south for a while, other than being so dry weather has been nice. Great shots from the plane and of our great southern woods.

Great stuff. I noticed your bottle of Tincup. My neighbor asked me down a few weeks ago to try a new bourbon he had picked up, Tincup. It was damn good and about the same price as a bottle of Jack, which is my "house bourbon".

 

You guys certainly eat well out there. Great pics, good to see you back in action!

How you did those pics from the sky, super cool! What a fantastic place we live in! I believe your skull is some type of rodent, squirrel or something similar, judging by the worn but square-ish front teeth....

Those nature shots reminds me of that walk to and from the cabin to the camp.
Chocolate overload in that Kock-sa was cool. or is it, Kuska?
I liked the shot of you flying over Jupiter and it sure was cool when Patrick ripped that students heart out and then cut it up for cookin, P is always crazy like that!

good stuff! how are you liking the heavy cover canteen kit? i think it complements the mors pot quite well...i had both out this past weekend.

...and i'm going to overlook the fact that you were just a short flight away and still didn't come up here for vacation!
