My loved cr2.5
Always in my pocket.
The boss gave me a Gerber Suspension NXT for Xmas. So was carrying that around today. Really like that it has a pocket clip.
How are you liking the police lightweight? Between my girlfriend and I we have a total of four endura 4 based spydercos (she carries a waved matriarch or a waved endura and a I carry a warncliff ffg or ZDP 189 endura) and I am really tempted by the police FRN lightweight for an even longer slicey blade.
I like it a lot actually. Definitely easier to carry than a lot of other larger folders I used to carry. It is noticeably larger than an Endura (in a good way) but still feels light for what it is. With the added weight of the 5x5 Pickpocket inertia opening is feasible as well as from pocket deployment (though inertia opening is definitely easier in reverse grip). If you like the endura but want something a little bigger, it’s essentially (in feel and function) and Endura on roids. I initially got it for trail running, but it goes with a lot of places around town too.
My knife is rusty. Will it still work???
That particular model works better when it's rusty.
Opinel No8 carbone
aka folding scalpel
For some reason this pic reminds me of a summer I spent working on a barge on the Tennessee River. The only knives on board were big rusty butcher knives or cheap serrated bait knives.
Brings back some good memories.

Maxamet PM2. It was a factory second and I’m very pleased with the condition.
I just found this at the bottom of a drawer this morning. I thought I'd lost it a long time ago. Spyderco Dyad Jr. My favorite pocket knife for years,no longer made by Spyderco.
I've never even seen one of those before.
New to the forum, glad to be here. I slipped this guy in my pocket a few days ago. It's in rotation with my Spyderco PM23 and titanium-scaled Bug out.
Best $37 I ever spent. Factory second Native 5LW.
My wife got me the Rat 2 D 2 for Christmas. I’ve been carrying it since then. Nice EDC...
Strange times when the small pile of brass cost more than the knife.
