I don't see one serrated 6. Anyone got any reason for that other than the usual love them hate them thing.
I got this serrated 6 because I already had one non-serrated, and it is also the only serrated ESEE I have. This one goes out to the garden quite a bit and is great for cutting stubborn roots.
I usually don't have much use for serrations mainly cause I dislike sharpening them and the fact that I sharpen my knives after I use them most times. I've heard from a few folks that the esee style serrations do make some cool feather sticks.
I went with non-serrated bc manofsteel was selling one. I have no issue with lots of sharpening but I do find serations helpfull and esee serrations no big deal to sharpen.
I have a 6S. I love the serrations on ESEE knives - they made the angle match the grind on the blade, so they can be sharpened much easier than standard serrations. They haven't affected performance in any way, but I think they add a little more versatility to the blade.
Super moon and super 6. Great work out with it. From honey extraction to cutting some bushes. Love this thing.
Agree. Excellent combo from fine stuff to the bigger stuff. I'm sold on the Silky saws though.............or a bow saw.
