    I don't see one serrated 6. Anyone got any reason for that other than the usual love them hate them thing.

    I got this serrated 6 because I already had one non-serrated, and it is also the only serrated ESEE I have. This one goes out to the garden quite a bit and is great for cutting stubborn roots.

    I usually don't have much use for serrations mainly cause I dislike sharpening them and the fact that I sharpen my knives after I use them most times. I've heard from a few folks that the esee style serrations do make some cool feather sticks.

    I went with non-serrated bc manofsteel was selling one. I have no issue with lots of sharpening but I do find serations helpfull and esee serrations no big deal to sharpen.

    I have a 6S. I love the serrations on ESEE knives - they made the angle match the grind on the blade, so they can be sharpened much easier than standard serrations. They haven't affected performance in any way, but I think they add a little more versatility to the blade.

    Agree. Excellent combo from fine stuff to the bigger stuff. I'm sold on the Silky saws though.............or a bow saw.
