Well after receiving the CL-1 and going dark with it for two weeks it's time to pass it on. @Theodore your up so shoot me you address and it's headed your way. Guys this cleaver is awesome! It's a hunters wet dream, it carries/packs well but heavy enough to take on some big tasks. I will be replacing my fisker hatchet in my day pack with the CL-1. I think is more versatile than a hatchet. Anyways I don't think I need to sell the idea to you clowns, you get it. It's two weeks in Wisconsin it got a tastes of the wild north and it's eatables. Ribeyes on the grill with morles and green beans. It chops great the weight helps but it's not too thick. Next up venison jerky making, again slices thin. Then bluegills and crappies with the family in the morning and no it's not a good filler knife . To prep the fire though it did great, so then gills and crappies in cast iron on in a open fire. Of course pics to follow and a bunch of shameless gear endorsements ha ha. Thank you so much to @Expat for trusting us misfits with his #001. I also started a traveling journel for expat so he knows where it's been. @Zeek maybe you want to leave that part out when you get it . I thought that's the least we could do for him letting is test drive. So I will be mailing a rite in the rain journel to stay with the cleaver in its travels. I'm going to need to be skipped and moved to the bottom of the pile. I have some stuff coming up. I don't have the time right now to do a good test. And I certainly do not want the cleaver just sitting in the mailbox if I am out for a few days. It is looking awesome though.
I PM'ed @lcmcrumley he was next on the list but have not heard back yet. I'll try not to piss anyone off but is there someone that wants the cleaver next. Speak up I have it boxed up and ready to go.

not a chance, that blade, once the gang bang (er pass-around) is done, will mysteriously be shipped to me in BC Canada. Where it will get properly broken in, BC STYLE. And the Idahole, will be enlarged to BC size.......
Hey, hey, hey, we're only halfway through the list, everyone needs to chill, we ain't givin this back to @Expat until it's been thoroughly used and abused. I volunteered for last, so I could deliver its remains to him all personal like, but it seems as if it can't be killed? I've got a bunch, (160lbs) of butts to smoke in a few weeks, and if it gets here by then so be it, but DO NOT give him his stuff back yet!
