I don't think there is a single item on that site that doesn't make me want to laugh and cry at the same time.
An eclectic collection of knives from Case, Benchmade, Chris Reeves, Spyderco, and even a Leatherman represented just to name a few mainstream manufacturers.
Only $98 for a piece of patterned red cloth....wow.... what a deal !!!! When I was in the outdoor trade we saw a little of this sort of thing from people, they would buy all this gear down in the city and travel up (be it firearms, chainsaws, tack etc) they get up to the place in the country and start to actually see what people who used their gear ever day (successfully) had...and then often come and buy that from us. I remember my cousin visiting when I was a kid, he is about 10yrs older then me, we did truly hate each other when we were young as well (for me it really was about that time he tried to kill me - but I digress), he come to stay at our place then was heading out to the family station in the bush (we lived in a little country town but the station was a 12hr drive into nowhere from there) he NEEDED my (OK our) grandmother to buy him specific clothing from the Saddlery in town for this adventure, because that is what the other boarders at his Sydney private school had.. nothing else would suffice....needless to see he got what he wanted but also copped a pretty hard time about showing up to a cattle station "to work" clothed only in "going to the city" clothes....LOL I tried to tell him of the ridicule that was going to come...honest...I did.
....that is normally the entrance I make when I arrive at the local strip club....same look on my face exactly as well...
I’m going to make you guys a deal. I’ll make those log carriers for you, 100% handmade, forum special only, custom monogram included, for only $299 each.
I recently bought a couple of their enamelware key chains for my family's camp 'cause they were on sale for $5 each instead of $15 and they had a free shipping deal going. Beautiful, quality products, but often about 3x the price they're worth in my estimation. The key chains were definitely worth the $5 shipped I spent, but no wonder they charge so much for them normally...when the box arrived it had custom printed gummed tape on the exterior, then the inside had a grey band of fiberboard wrapped around a bunch of excelsior wood fiber as packing material, affixed with a Best Made sticker, and the key chains were wrapped in plastic inside a custom-printed Tyvek drawstring bag. That was at least $5 in packing material alone.
One of the companies they sell products for is a client of mine. I always laugh when they call in because they produce really high-end stuff but the guys always seem fairly clueless.
