One of the greatest benefits of this forum is as a resource to me. To that end I like organization and having the ability to quickly search out information on a brand of knife by going to the thread devoted to that knife and/or company. Hence the Strider thread which I have not found anywhere else on here.

This SnG came by way of trade and was practically NIB condition. It has stayed that way for no good reason. I never put this thing in my pocket. Here is the crazy part, it is probably one of the very best fitting folders I've ever held in my hand.

I like the styling and the blade treatment with their "tigerstriping". The weight is very light given the size of the knife. It just never gets carried. Here is what they refer to as their "Lego" pattern scale in G10.

Nice visual on the lockbar side with the tigerstripe anodizing. The blade is S30v.

I am going to commit to carrying this in the woods this fall and see how I feel about it using in hand. I won't sell it because I like the looks of it so damn much.

Of the 8 striders I have owned the SnG is by far the most comfortable blade. I personally prefer the conceal carry and gunner grips over the Lego block but either way works. It is a stout dependable knife and I doubt you'll be disappointed.

One of the greats, striders ride so nice in the pocket. I love the flat grind and the knife just looks sexy. I wish the SnG had a thinner blade but I know the point of the knife is to be bomb proof.

This isn't a closed thread. Let's see some other Striders if you've got them.

Ive got a Strider fixed blade I need to put up for sale or trade. Just sits in a box. Forgot I had it.

They are well built knives but I dont have a use for them personally.

No, I'll take it. I don't have any Striders. Joel has a hundred Striders.

I'll dig it out. It's an MFS.

If I recall correctly, it needs to be rewrapped.

Seriously, how much do you want for it? This is the first time I've ever wanted to PM you, and I can't!

All 3 are gone now, but I'll definitely get another SnG (hopefully a CC tanto), and an SMF. The PT is just too damn small for my hands.

It was used and abused for sure, but it cut like an S.O.B. It used to be tiger striped also but the original owner somehow stripped/sanded it off. I traded a 5.11 rush 24 bag for it so I think I still got a better deal.

This one was a pain to handle because it was so small and smooth. I dropped it quite a few times.

I just ordered a Strider tool for spanning the pivot screw. Once I get that I am going to work on the modest lock stick that I am experiencing. I will probably do my own write-up on that. I don't have any vertical movement on the blade but I am getting some lateral movement that I want to adjust out of the blade. It is not much but enough to catch my attention.

Careful with that though, a little goes a long long way. In fact most striders get all the relief they need from a bit of pencil lead on the lock side of the interface.

@trench -- Your heads up is appreciated. I've made that mistake enough times to know better. A little is good so a lot just has to be better, right? Idiot. :D

I actually keep a small plastic bottle of graphite for various uses and have already added some. I intend to see how that works itself in over the next couple of days. IMO it is already starting to fix itself with just repeated openings and the bit of graphite.

Still won't keep me from taking it apart. You've seen my poll already so you know what I'm talking about.
