Old pic of my MSR "Pocket Rocket"...

....that pic was taken in 2001 in Joshua Tree Nat Park. Bought the stove in Calgary a few weeks before and it feed two of us on a road trip from there to Mexico and back up to Ventura CA. Still have it and it still accompanies me on most trips.

Those are good little stoves. I used to have one doG knows where it went? LOL.

Sounds like a fun trip too. I was laying plans to come ride a motorcycle around your country back around 2007. Life changes sent that ship sailing in another direction.

I have been down both coasts of the US (plus some of the inland states on each side) and across the bottom. Still have places to visit though. I was supposed to be back over in 2020 but we know how that all worked out !

Boiling water for coffee on my alcohol stove. Got the Trangia bottle new, love it. Easy to get an exact amount of fluid in the stove. :D

Thank you sir, I have many stoves. Got into collecting them a year or so ago, but have not gotten the urge to buy one lately.

Took the swiss Borde Kocher out for some backyard bushcraft.
