Hate we missed it but we will be there next year.
Fantastic class!! Can't say enough good about it
Lot of fun having you guys here, Trailmaster. The SRT class is my favorite class to do. Don't be a stranger, if you want to go caving or bounce some pits with us then drop me or Kevin an email and we will put you on our email list. We usually try to get at least one caving or climbing trip in every month.
Absolutely very interested. I'll need to pick up a little more gear first though
We have enough gear we can loan you to drop in and climb out. We're thinking about doing Valhalla next. 227' deep pit with a mile of underground passage.
As a side note, that Kevin Reeves trash bag was absolutely worthless in the multi drop. I didn't warm up until I got home and got in the shower.
Here's a pic of Valhalla (not mine):
Yeah I think the water was a little beyond a trash bag.
Holy crap it would take me a week to climb out of that! I would love to do it though.
This is for you, trailmaster.
Hey I got a video of you coming down one of the multi drops. I posted it to the Randall's Facebook page and Shane re-posted it
Just saw that. Cool video. Didn't even know you were filming. That little waterproof camera you have does a pretty good job.
I'll post some pics soon, but I want to throw my waterproof camera away and get one like Trailmaster's. I got some decent pics, but my video quality in the low light was nowhere near his. Brand and model?
Jeff, My trashbag was ripped up by the last time down the multi drop. I am surprised it lasted 3 times. I was getting cold by the end of it. First time I did it I took a good poncho.....it became a bad poncho after that trip.
Only way to roll with a lot of water is to just not take anything to keep the water off. This route is best for a warm day. If we would have done this route first then we would have had a lot of cold folks the remainder of the day.
This is a good review. Like it says, great camera but kinda slow. I've had mine everywhere, in muddy caves, under water and freezing cold. Never had a problem. The prices are a lot cheaper now also.
Some more pics...
