Solo Camping with Military Surplus Gear

    Did a quick overnighter with some military surplus. Was using for the first time a French F1 tent. And took along my well used ILBE pack. Fun trip and the weather was perfect! Finally fall!

    The tent looks really nice compared to anything I’ve ever used in the military. Can’t wait to get it and camp :rolleyes:

    Great trip! I saw wooly aphids as well for the first time a few weeks ago. Didn't know what they were. There were thousands of them all along a tree branch. Looked like tiny troll dolls headbanging to heavy metal too low to hear lol.
