@Slade made me a few hanks, and I have to say they are pretty awesome. He was very responsive and got them cut, stitched and mailed within 2 days. The quality is outstanding. He sent me a detailed report of his progress and feedback about the designs and fabric choices I made, along with some sneak-peek pictures. I felt he went above and beyond, and spent extra time working on the more difficult fabrics (232 and 308) to get it just right, so I sent him a few bucks extra to say 'Thanks' He also threw in some wonderfully fragrant fatwood, a little screw-top tin, and a bonus hank. The fatwood is soooo saturated in sap, it had almost petrified into a solid amber resin. It smells fantastic, and I quickly shaved some off to fill the tin. I didn't have time to stage a bunch of pictures, but I snapped a couple quick ones: Thank you again, Ehran! I really hope that you keep making hanks, and sharpening blades - your skils, integrity, and abilities are definitely exceptional. Keep it up, man!
I love that last picture of the translucent fatwood. Great pic. Glad the hanks were well received. Told you I'd get even for the extra funds.
@Benson X , would you mind if I use one or two of those pics for my instagram? I really like to one with the ritter grip fatwood and octopuses.
Not at all man, I hope to get more pics when I have some time. I'll email you a higher resolution version (since they scale down when attached).
Let me know if they come through okay, I think my phone just took a sh*t on me while sending them. It's stuck in an endless reboot cycle now
