Sorry about your friend. Seems like people I know die young because of this crapy disease more and more everyday.

I don't have that kinda cash either. I would but a house,5kids, two trucks, sports, wife, etc get in the way. That's the life I chose.

Fancy things do not give hugs. Five kids and an old lady do.

Interesting to see Burt's Bees there. That company started just up the highway from where I live now. A woman named Roxanne Quimby hooked up with a guy named Burt who raised bees and made some products. She expanded the business to an international level. I've seen their products all over the US, and I'm sure they're elsewhere, also.

Decades later, she bought the business, then sold it eventually making a LOT of money. She and her kids are those who donated most of the land for the new national monument just north of here, Katahdin Woods and Waters. (For more about it with pics, click "adventures" in my sig line.) 78,000 acres just east of but bordering the much larger Baxter State Park where Katahdin is, where the AT ends on the north. They also donated and pledged US$40M to the national park service. There's money in bees if you do it right.

Ok, just one pic of KW&W. Not mine, but by summer, I intend to take a bunch up there, with some videos. And my main (non-town) EDK is designed to live there, at least short term, with minimal shelter -- like a hammock and tarp. I hope to get up there on my (yet to be bought) ATV on some of the thousands of miles of ATV/sled trails around here.

Yeah. Moleskin. I've tried field notes but thought they were crap comparatively.

Love my Knipex stuff. It used to be sold in Home Depot but I don't believe so anymore... mostly made in china crap now.

I think this one is a 13-1 or 11-1. My favorite pet is the various-sized hex drivers. Very useful for hose clamps and small screws/bolts.
