Here are my shotguns. The Remington Model 11 is a 12-gauge with serial number 429XX under the receiver right next to the breach, which I think puts its manufacturing date around 1907. It was my great grandfather's gun. Around the age of 12 or 13, I cleaned it and used it to shoot blackbirds eating our grain. It would jam every now and then, but it worked fine. I've got, what I believe to be, the original scabbard and cleaning kit for the gun.

The other is a Remington 870 Supermag. I'd like to get a home-defense shotgun soon.

Many critters have been introduced to the kitchen courtesy of this particular shotgun.

Man, the updates in this thread over the last few months are making me want to try to go ahead and buy a shotgun, even if I'll have to probably leave it in the US when I go to Scotland next year (along with my 9).

I recently purchased a Mossberg Shockwave. Added a CDS Grip Wrap and OPSol Mini-Clip so I can load 9 Aguilla mini buck/slug/or birdshot. Higher capacity, reduced recoil, sufficient affect. Could also use the OPSol in my Maverick 88.
I've been wanting a short HD/TG to supplement a handgun. At 26 inches LOA, this should fit the bill.
Plenty of videos on YouTube regarding the Shockwave (Hickock 45 approved) and Aguilla penetration in ballistic gelatin for all three rounds. The slug was particularly impressive. Looking for a suitable scabbard to transport yet with easy access.

I'm sure I'll be able to pick one up in Scotland. I know they'll be very popular over there.

Scottish Blokes and Blokettes are all non-violent whiskey loving peaceful types. No need for such a firearm there.

I could argue "pump", but that could color me as a pimp.
