Short bush spear

    Made this awhile back, inspiration from the Zulu short spears carried / used by Aborigines.

    Cold Steel Bushman Bowie blade, tight friction fit on a sculpted hickory shaft. Burned grips and designs on the shaft, plus cord wraps. Entire shaft was soaked in tung oil for 6 months and then rubbed with pine tar / tung oil mix. Sheath has an Exotac Ferro rod attached.

    Not a throwing spear, but a thrusting spear / bush tool.

    I don't have a lot of issues with criminal types in the forests here :D
