    didn't get out today.....monsoon icy cold rains and cold temps. Hard to get out of bed with two house panthers curled up to you....LOL

    watching free movies all day long.....:D

    woke up to rain around 4:30 AM - it finally stopped a little before 7.
    nothing heavy, but steady -- only had 3/8" in the rain gauge when I checked -- BUT -- the floor in the shelter was dry this morning, except at the outside edges, so at least I have that going for me the next time I piss off SWMBO.....

    I didn't see it mentioned, are we allowed to use hand tools in the construction phase? Is this a "go use your favorite knife and build a shelter with it" contest, or a "go out into the woods and see what you can come up with just using cordage and found materials"?

    I'm in either way.
