Thanks. Yeah, I'd likely put a Wolff mainspring in it.

I have the 3" version, all original except for the Altamont grips. It's one of my favorites. I'm using one of the Simply Rugged pancake style holsters... when walking the dog. :)

Is that a lanyard ring on the bottom of your grip, and if so, where did you get it?

Sure is. Hogue, part # 00129. It works with the large screw grips stirrups. I think It was $2.50.

Outstanding. Thank you. Looks like I need to call them to get one. I really have no justification for a lanyard ring on my revolver than "Because Indiana Jones had one, but oddly, I find that is enough."

    Nice
I got to handle a couple of those a few years ago, 6"and 4". The 6" was tempting.

The upgrades on the Talo editions - specifically the Novak sights and nicer Altamont rubber/wood grip are both worth it, imo.

Very nice. And rock solid accurate. Starting to smooth out after a few hundred rounds now.

I like Paul Harrel, all of his videos I have seen are straight forward, informative, and no B.S.

I've had a hankering for a SP101 snub for some time now. Came across a Talo edition last week for a good price and I picked it up on my lunch break today. Just got back from the range, where I put a variety of 38/357 target ammo through it, as well as some Hornady Critical Defense (.38+P - 110 gr), Federal HST Micro (.38+P -130 gr) and some Federal Hydra-Shock (.357 - 130gr) and it ate it all up.

I was actually surprised at how well this little gun handled .357 loads. But for a defensive round, I think I'm going to stick primarily with the HST Micro 38+p. I've seen great performance with this round, and most ballistics tests have agreed. Penetrates well for a .38 round, with excellent expansion.

I might just have a new daily workhorse...

Oh boy Hammer, I have been looking for one of those. I really want to try out those sights. I have a standard SP-101 with a big dot front sight. It is a workhorse.

Underwood has some nice offerings too and their prices with shipping seem reasonable.
