my first set of mini spray bottles are now several years old and still functioning like new so i bought more in case it gets discontinued...these are great for holding rubbing alcohol and i stash them all over the house and garage to wipe tape residue, food, etc. from my knives. also holds quick detailer spray for the vehicles to clean up bird poop on the paint, etc.

i have no real use for these but i just had to buy it and the reason is obvious :D the tape dispenser is actually the nicest one i've seen so far build-wise and proportions.

    Mail call from TYR TACTICAL

another of their jungle butt packs . This one is for the JAYJAYBRECON Patrol vest

    2EBA7FBC-892A-4D06-BAC2-984F99730079.jpeg

Also two back up magnum cans of Bear Spray. These will have to suffice until I get my firearms license and my Keltec KSG bull pup shotgun. The good lads at DS TACTICAL in New West BC are holding 3 x HSGI Multicam Soft Taco pouches for me ( for vest mounting all three canisters of pepper seasoning) <<<<picking those up in the AM

Also got some flagging tape for trail marking

props to you for finally deciding to get a shotgun...but jeez don't get that keltec! get a mossberg 590a1 (ask se7ven what he thinks of his). or any pump from remington or mossberg...and bring that to the woods.

then buy that keltec for home toy if you still want it.

I agree. Keltec is a lot less versatile then a traditional pump

Personally I prefer my Remington 870 youth. It’s short. I carry it far more then I shoot it so the shorter length and less weight is a appreciated. I’ve always shot 20 gauge guns better anyway. That said, not much dangerous wildlife around here.

I appreciate ya'lls opinions (no seriously, you guys all have decades plus of gun experience) , but, i disagree. I know Keltec in the past has been lambasted for crappy firearms.....but they appear to have stepped up their game in the last 10 years. That Keltec KSG has been (and is still being) tested here by some LEO agencies for CQB use, its getting very positive reviews by them as well as civvie users.

I'm a huge fan of the bullpup shotgun design, I like compact and the fact that us Canucks can legally buy & carry a 2' long shotgun (the KSG is NON RESTRICTED) in Canada says something.

My goal is being able to hook it to my webbing (at the right front chest molle point) for easy carry thru very very dense almost impassable brush and trees (the terrain i hike thru) . I'm not keen on carrying a long rifle or shotgun thru the terrain I scramble up, thru. It would present a lot of issues(snagging on tree branches/shrubs) . The Keltec , at 2' long (actually 26") , meets my compact firearm requirement, as well as being able to hold 12 x 3" shells<<<<<(and that right there is another reason I want it - being able to "reload" by simply flicking the feed tube selector switch in less than a second could be a life saver)...... Its the closest i'm ever going to get to a SBR up here. (AFAIK, SBR are not allowed up here) (im no firearms expert, but have had range time and woods time with firearm owning friends since i was 10)

Hickok45 loves the Keltec KSG. Not that im basing my decision on what he likes , but he raises a lot of good points.

keep in mind we are SEVERELY limited here in Canada in what we can buy/carry/use/ <<<<the fact that a 2' long 12 round shotgun (bullpup to boot) can be legally purchased and carried here, is not something to poo poo at......If i get it and it gets banned, at least i can get grandfathered in and still own and use it. For now, Bullpup shotguns are very legal (non restricted ) here in Canada.......inlcuding a few offerings from Turkey that are being tested by the RCMP for their Swat squads

my ONLY (legal in Canada) other option is the Standard Arms DP-12, but its like $2000 vs $1000 or so for the KSG.....

(think i should go for BOTH ;) )

(we should probably start a shotgun thread in Knives, Gear, Guns And tools) ;) lest the Mods get itchy drawers :D

you're about to buy a gerber when an esee is available for the same or less price is all i'm saying...and not necessarily just quality-wise but design-wise too with that double mag tube, etc...simple is best when it comes to shtf in my book.

but it's your choice in the end :)

If you’re after a bull pup shotgun why aren’t you looking as the TS12?

    ^ shotgun thread - Knives & Gear :D

2 x Velocity Systems PR radio pouches. Not the colour I wanted (Multicam ) but it works quite well and the lads at DS Tactical gave me a bro deal.

These are ultralight compared to the HSGI Soft Taco pouches.......takes 5 of these pouches to equal the weight of the HSGI Soft Taco pouch

Holds the bear spray very well.
