That’s it. I can’t wait for Canada dealers to get these. (And mark them up like 500 %)

Heading over to Exotac and ordering direct

Just wanted to show my new Victorinox Spirit I found in a pawn shop yesterday. Looks like it wasn’t really ever used.

It has the Toyota Tundra logo on the one side and on the other it’s says one bada@@ truck.

The logos are both engraved in the handles.

Toyota Tundra is my favorite truck so it’s kind of a neat piece :)

Have you checked out RTIC yet? YETI makes a great product but RTIC does as well and they’re much more affordable. I have the 145, 65, a soft cooler that I use as a lunchbox, and the backpack cooler that I strap to the back seat of the Can-Am. We also have a handful of their travel cups as well. I’ve got 3 or 4 YETI cups floating around and you really can’t tell a difference in quality IMO.

i haven't seen an rtic in person yet plus it soured me on the brand after they lost a lawsuit against yeti...even before that though when i didn't own a yeti and was doing my own research it was clear to me they copied yeti's designs (like a lot of other makers too).

it's like spike's tactical...i'll never buy their products because i still remember they jacked up their stripped lowers right after obama won for the first time whereas bcm, noveske, etc. prices stayed the same.

plus i have several yeti products already (roadie 20, hopper flip 18, travel mugs) so i guess i tend to be brand loyal.

    Just got it last night.

    knife2.jpg knife1.jpg

REALLY comfortable handle. I spent some time last night touching up the edge to get rid of the factory one. Definitely sharp, but 3V doesn't feel as sharp as the 1095 I'm used to. Hopefully I can get out with it soon for some morel hunting.

It is about 12" tall, and 9" wide. Has 5 tiers, to hold all your goodies for the day. There is 1 bracket on the side of the base, maybe to clip a lamp, or a strap, or maybe a thermos, not sure. Seems like pretty strong aluminum, I heard the miners would sit on their pails while they ate.
I imagine this is similar to what my great grandfather would have used when he was a coal miner. He was killed in the mine, rock slate hit him in the head, in 1942, he was 50 yrs old. Came here from Russia.

Finally managed to snag a GB SFA before they sold out. Has a rather attractive (IMO) two tone handle with near perfect grain and a beautifully forged and perfectly hung head, as expected from Gransfors.

    Absolutely thrilled.

Cast iron 6 qt potjie. The real deal from S. Africa. Can't wait to break this in. I worked up a special recipe just for my beloved, seemed fitting to do it in this.
