Will do after some use, but it sure seems like it ticks all the boxes. Secure retention, quick to deploy if needed and MOLLE ladder on the back for mounting in various ways. Well made too.
But there different colorstheir from the same company but they don't match? That'll drive the OCD crowd nuts
they shouldn't match...one is green and the other is brown. two different shades of green or brown is another story now the two different molle styles does bother me
It's the holster I've been using for belt carry for a few months now (picked it up around the end of summer). Great holster, works just fine. Can secure the elastic over the top for full retention and safety, or slip it forward (without having to undo the velcro) and carry it ready to be deployed in an instant. The elastic around the top is strong enough to keep the can from falling out by itself even during rigorous movement. ETA: If you ever plan to belt carry, I find it carries best with the strap fed through the top and very bottom MOLLE rows.
A certain @Michael W. made me realize how much I needed an Ontario Raider Bowie. OMG this thing is perfect (would be even better with leather stack handles and a steel pommel) Pretty much relegates the CS Smatchet to the 4x4 tool box......
New scales for my 4 came in (trying to patiently wait for the sheath now), a silver casstrom caribiner, which better suits the dangler setup rather than the brass one, and my first fishing license in over 10 years, with a trout stamp. The esee advanced survival kit should be in later today.
$50 at an estate sale. Was locked in the open position so I was able to get it take apart and removed the bolts until I have some time to figure out the combo. Little lock box on the inside still has the key too!
