...... I think I have five or six of these now. I have a good friend who turned me onto them (he is a longtime ham after serving as a Coms specilist in the Army here). I presently run them all on UHF for hunting/bush coms but he is talking me into the Ham deal...good choice. Among my group of associates there are about 30 of these, only one failure I am aware of.
cabelas is 65 miles away and even then their selection is very limited and already pricey...ammoman.com is so far the best prices i've seen so far including shipping. i'll just stock up while the getting is good, not like it's going to expire
Yeah... I would never buy ammo from Cabelas. I know a couple family owned gun shops with much better prices. How far is Dave's Gun Shop from you? Or Piestraks ?
Just brought this little guy home the other day. So we're up to 3.5 horses now. Figured he'd give the kids something to crawl all over and we won't have to worry about it crushing a foot.
Home Depot had this one or the 6.9 cubic foot version for the same $168 price tag. No brainer. I have well over 100lbs of meat that need freezing stat!
We've got two mares in heat because we just brought in two 17 hand geldings. So you never know, ol @ManOfSteel might get lucky.
When we moved in last October, we had two horses. Two... Now there's 6 lol. Luckily, only 4 of them are ours.
Freedom Munitions is THE cheapest I've ever seen. Their re-manufactured ammo is almost always below the cheapest of the cheap steel cased stuff and their remans have always had fantastic reviews. Right now their 55gr is $290/1000rds with free shipping.
