I don't know what it is and probably don't want to know what it costs but that's a good looking knife. Simple, useful design.
I was thinking the same thing when I saw it. Also thinking it's a wee bit larger than an Izula II?
Come on CWB, who makes it, and what model?
It's a Dave Wenger knife. Not sure if the model.
I absolutely love this knife. It's the perfect machete, in my opinion, for my uses.
It’s the Dave Wenger Essential. Extremely good user design as all ofDave’s are. My buddy actually has one for sale right now on bladeforums, bcusa, and the pouthouse.
Yes it is.
A friend of mine gave me a CS Kobun blade, so it got a handle from a guy that began doing knives and handles recently. It is not something pretty or special at all, but it is a solid handle and it is comfortable. Home made micarta and stainless pommel.
The sheath is kydex made by a good friend of mine, it is great and has very good retention. The holes are drilled for a large tek loc.
I might put that knife in the car. I really like Cold Steel, but their Aus8 is very soft, even for Aus8.
A couple recent pieces in O1:

Small knives with big-enough handles are awesome.
