I double boiled a small bowl of Snoseal and applied the first coat with a paintbrush. I hit it with a hairdryer until it all absorbed. The second coat I rubbed on by hand and went over it with the hair dryer again.

Applying it in liquid form with a brush seemed to help get a nice even first coat. I did the second coat by hand so I could focus on the seams etc.

......so I have been carrying that little SORD for most things since January and am very happy with it. So much so a new one came up on Aussie eBay along with a second Multicam SORD day pack (different design, more like my Eagle) same seller for both (new and unused) put in a silly (low) bit on each - as I DO NOT at all need another pack and....won....both of them....LOL So paid about 1/4 the combined price for both of them....

She doesn't understand how awesome it is that you got another $600 knife for $150 or another $200 pack for $50??

    What's wrong with her?!?!?

Yeah, I have the same issue, married to a wonderful woman that unfortunately loses all logic (and humor apparently) when it comes to me buying critical outdoor and/or hunting gear... :(

Mine is actually pretty good, she paid for that African adventure I went on (also upped my life insurance a month before I left)... the "need" is lost on her though...LOL
