I’d love to buy one but sadly I barely carry my Leatherman anymore. It rides in my edc bag and only gets used when I’m too lazy to go to the garage for a proper screwdriver or pliers. It’s not real useful at work anymore either. Not much use for it on a forklift.

Curious what people think of SOG multi-tool quality these days? I've got a Powerlock that has to be at least 12 years old and it's never let me down, and I've been thinking about picking up another. But I'm wondering if new SOG is still the same as old SOG?

I use to love the early SOG's I had, well built quality tools, sadly over the years something's gone wrong with there MT's quality not as good and as for there files Lol there more of a butter blade ,I've owned older powerlocks and there Great and the pocket power pliers and paratool, all older made SOG's and all better built,I picked up a powerplay last summer in a trade deal, hated it ,didn't feel very strong,it kept loosening up and the handle covers moving, and yep that crap file,I'll stick with leatherman as I have for the last 20 odd years ;-)

Thanks, Paul - that is similar to some other recent feedback I've heard.
