i dug up the pics of my buddy's bike. it was may 05, 2012 i knew nothing about bikes and never even ridden one but when i saw it i knew i wanted a speed triple someday...now i can stop bugging him every time i see him to sell it to me
I think this is the first picture of me on my bike, ever. IMG_20180422_184635_913 by D Hunley, on Flickr
i'm calling my red speed triple beauty...but you can't have beauty without the beast so i ordered one
lol. deal! but i want the payment in the form of moras, spam, and bulleit bourbon. this is probably the safest and easiest to ride bike i’ll own from what i’ve heard...heck, the ca superbike school uses them for newbs...we should plan to attend that next year. my sv650 is the most dangerous - no abs, no traction control...zero electronic aids. i messed up my rev match while downshifting last year on a slightly damp road and the rear nearly slid out.
I’m down. I like em pretty basic. My R1 had traction control and I don’t remember if it had ABS. Pretty sure it did. I prefer the raw animal nature of no electronics most time.
My wrist is my traction control and my hand and foot are my ABS. Seems the rider aids are the way of the future, but I'm a purist in the sense that I'm all about man and machine.
What's ABS? What's traction control? What's fuel injection for that matter? 148+hp, 98ftlb's torque, 600#s Point in a safe direction crank the throttle and hang on Still haven't figured out why the front tire last so much longer than the rear
i wish i had your riding skills - making no mistakes. i come from the mtb world so i tend to crash first then back off my limit first time i met mos at 6 mile years ago i was covered in dirt from a crash
