Received my Corbin seat yesterday and man is it nice! Just need to replace the goofy turn signals now.

I did about 275 miles today and I think I have decided that a Harley or cruiser in general is not for me. I was the most comfortable sitting halfway on the passenger seat with my feet on the passenger pegs. I don't like the fat grips either, they make my thumbs hurt after a while.

I'm not sure what to try next, my problem is that I need a low seat height. I don't mind tip toeing solo, but I need to be able to flat foot it with a passenger.

Man I've been super impressed with the BMW r1200GS....great 2 up and it is a do all bike....and really comfortable...the Boxer motor has a long history of being an awesome motor capable of racking up the miles.

    I'm a fan for sure.

I think I might have found what I need. 1993 Yamaha TDM 850 I need to sit on it to check the height but it looks like it would be fun and comfy 2 up.

I LOVED the TDMs when they came out...I think they would be actually popular if they brought them back as well. Yamahas updated version is the Super Tenere which is another bike I seriously considered as well. Nice bikes and metronome reliable. Definitely worth a look as well.

I found a clean one in Tallahassee with 9500 miles and a sergeant seat. With a 31" seat height I might be able to handle it, I will just have to see.

Well, I didn't want to bother the seller on the holiday and waited to long to call. Now I am looking at a 1997 VFR750 tomorrow.

Another bike to take a look at would be the Moto Guzzi Stelvio. Low seat height for an ADV bike and can be had for the right price...worth a shot for sure...

The bike below has 24k miles and guys is asking 5K for it.

Thanks, the VRF sold before I could get there. I was on the way to check it out when he messaged me. I saw a Moto guzzi for sale but I didn't think I wanted to own something that exotic. There's just not a big selection down here, it's hard to find something that I want to own.

Thanks Jay, and it’s not all bad, just very different more than anything. More changes for good than bad. But yes, 2 wheels definitely helps me try and clear my mind.

    Cool pic @Delkancott

I'm hoping to pick up some sort of small dual sport next spring. I ride out in the "country" a lot and always see trails and dirt roads that I would love to explore. I really want to get into moto camping, too.

Put a deposit down on a Honda CRF300L today. Should be fun for bopping around town and riding on dirt roads and such. Will have to try some moto camping too. Hopefully I'll have it in a month...

My sons and I have been considering a run on the TAT (Trans American Trail)...The CRF300 is a bike we've looked at and of course the 450RL...nice bikes for sure.

The weather has been warm and I've gotten out a few times already... Hoping everyone has a safe riding season in 2022..

I used to do a fair amount of riding when I lived in western states. Since I moved back east i've got way more bicycle miles than moto miles. Life is funny that way. I still have my scooter and need to get it registered and at least do some poser rides. Haha.

I've been wanting a 450RL, but I think the CRF300 is more practical for what I want to do with it. Ride safe!

It's finally here. Feels so weird to hop on this thing after riding the XSR. Hopefully we have some good weather this weekend!
