    Last monday Guinnes passed away.

    At the age of 10 he lived his life to the max.

    Travelled all over europe, we were unseperatable.

    He stopped eating so we made a last trip to the woods and then to the vet...:(


    The house feels empty, and so does my life right now.

    I know these feeling will mellow out but that'll take time.:(

    Hope to remember Guinness just like you do yours.... You mentioning the nicknames made me smile. We had tons for him as well.... Most used was Houdini as he was an incredible escape artist :)

    I'm sorry to read this news. I know you feel lucky to have had him, and you absolutely were. But he was also lucky to have you. You kept him with you on the trail. Life doesn't get any better for a dog. Take care of yourself partner.

    ........... mate I am so very sorry to hear this. You should know that he was known and admired around the world and the story of him overcoming his troubles years ago have not been forgotten. It is tough on us all that good dogs come and seem to go so quickly yet leave such and indelible mark on us all. It is tough now but when the loss passes a bit more you will just settle on all those great memories you made together.

    Not sure what to say other than i will miss seeing his adventures and that he was well known across the world. Not many dogs have a following like that. I am thankful for the photos and time we were allowed to share with him. Thank you for taking the time to do so and to keep us updated. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of need.

    Some bastard had tied this poor soul to starve to death in an abandoned yard, so I took her to a safe place and I'm looking after her now. Almost 2 weeks since these pics and she's making a recovery. Once the skin disease is healed I will find a home for her. She eats 4 cans (400 grams each) per day and goes out for a walk twice per day, has a warm place to be and is a happy dog now.

    Good on you. Hopefully it wasn’t absolute malice. Hard to think it wasn’t, but maybe he was suicidal or thought he would make it back and failed? One can hope. She looks like she will be a good girl. Based on the photos, I think she will make a full recovery.
