I have been very lucky in that I both grew up with dogs (Maltese, Foxies, Scotties and Kelpies) and as an adult have been around many many working dogs. (Kelpies and Heelers back in the bush, Spaniels (Welsh and English Springers) , Boarder Collies, German and Belgian Shepards, Rottys, GSPs, Labs, Beagles, Goldens and probably a breed or two have forgotten. I love dogs, I generally prefer them to the majority of humans, I think they have a way of looking into a persons soul and knowing just what it is that they need. I feel into English Setters as pets, almost by default, they are a wonderful companion that truly love the company of humans, to the point they believe they are in fact just a furry human with more legs and a tail.
I stayed in this hotel last year in Indiana and the hotel had its own dog that lived in the lobby. During the day he spent most of his time hanging around on the lobby counter or sleeping on it.
-Said with an Australian accent- "Seen here in its natural environment, the Yellow Labragator at the edge of the family table. Its mooching powers are so highly refined that no family member can resist." [/URL]
