Looks like my night table. The pistols rotate between a G19 and a Sig P229. The logic is the same JMJ2.0. I also keep a 14 inch Mossberg Shockwave 590s between me and our dogs. The dogs were great when we lived in Chicago. Never barked, just a house shaking subsonic growl. Two oversized, over trained Malnios. The monster killers who were afraid of the cats. Maybe they knew something I didn't. Lol.
I’ve resorted to using a stool in my closet for taking edc pics lol. I’ve gotten so used to carrying the G20 in a blade tech aiwb holster that I tend to carry it daily and only rotate to my G27 when I absolutely need something smaller. I’ve been doing a better job of rotating my knives lately, it had been just the Spyderco Endura wave and my CM6 for a couple years.
JMJ2.0, as a dedicated edc person, what is your opinion of the blade tech? I'm always looking for a solid aiwb. I'm sure that you have that drawer we all have filled with the expensive failures.i just recently tried a FourBrothers for my P365-380. It's a great little gun easily shot one handed with no need for additional add ons. The pistol rattles in the holster no matter how i set the retention. I've got many pistols, predominantly Glocks after swearing 20+ years ago id never own a polymer striker fired qeapon. I've always preferred steel. Needless to say I have many now, 9mm and .45 app. Carrying a steel sig with 15 rounds of 230 grain +p gets pretty heavy and glock fixed that nicely. I owned a personal protection business for a long time and keep my licenses up to date so I can open carry if I choose. I just prefer not to show my hand. I'm going to purchase the eclipse for my G21 and give that a test drive. Do you conceal a spare mag as well ? I often keep it in my support side pocket, but with the 20 and 21 frames being a bit thicker I'm thinking the mag carries better and prevents printing more so than that heavy slide. I have to respect any person that shoots 10mm. It's a stout round and effective. There was a case in Illinois where the prosecution went after the shooter in a self defense shooting because he thought the 10 was too big. He lost the case. You use what you need be it a .22 or a 44. If you need to pull the trigger you need it to work. I'll let you know about the blade tech. It is easier on my wallet than a colored Tier one. I'm at the point in my life where I like a stool in our shower now. I can appreciate it in a photographic setting too. Enjoy your week sir. Richard
I’ll throw my .02 cents in here. I have a holster from Blade Tech for my Glock 43 and like it. It’s lightweight, comfortable, has a sweat guard (I live in the south a couple of miles from the beach), and has done everything that I need it to do. I also have a Tier 1 for my CZ P-10C that I love, but it’s pricey. The majority of my other Glocks and Smith & Wessons have holsters from Desantis which have been good enough.
As of right now....when I Aiwb carry...I carry a g22 in a bladetech aiwb....until I get a 43X or a 1911 compact carry genere pistol. Been using the same holster since 2015. It's been a solid holster. Nothing to write home about...but good. For the price...it's great.
I’ve got the total eclipse 2 set up for aiwb with their attached mag side car. I’ve had it a little over 2 years and really like it. It does a great job of concealing my G20. Hard to beat for the price when you look at other “side car” style aiwb rigs. I tend to carry this setup year around without issues. Before this I was using minimalist holsters like Raven Concealment’s vanguard 2 and a simple one from MFT, moving to a pistol with rds and a that suppressor height front sight made the minimalist rig no good.
