This is my first post here. I did a search but couldn’t find what I’m looking for.
I want to laser etch an ESEE-4 that I bought as a gift for someone. The guy that runs the laser at work has only etched bare metals and plastics. My question is, will the powder coat etch clean and sharp or will it burn and flake at the edges? If I knew whether or not the factory logos are laser etched would probably answer my question as well. I’m gonna run it on my ESEE-6 as a test piece prior to the new blade.
