    Meh. Sorry. Lost me on that one. Pass.

    It's just not useful to me. Might be to many of the guys here.

    After having this one in hand.....I can't wait to see what people think.....as a hunter this will be a new "Go To" blade for me during bow season (which is all of deer season for me).....and the thought of caping an elk with this thing just makes me giddy....

    I may be going for the jg-5 instead of the forum Knife now. A 6hm doesn’t do anything my current 6 does. But the new Gibson....

    To me it’s all about meat processing instead of wood.

    I bet you it would pair very nicely with your cleaver and a CR2.5 for Cooking with the Bushman... :p

    Mine is destined for the kitchen. Paired with my cleaver and my Cr 2.5. It should be the trio that will handle most of my cooking needs.

    I’ll also be using it for chopping cut bait. But I guess I will use most any knife for that.

    This guy;

    Would be very happy with this knife. As he said a knife should be the best of both form and temper. (We all know rowen can temper) his famous trio;

    I figure the CR2.5 in place of the folder and eventually (hint hint) the ESEE carving axe instead of the Double bit. (Until ESEE makes that also ;) )
