    Anyone who has been around 4 wheel drives, offroading, Baja racing, etc for long will probably recognize the name Jessi Combs. Some may have even had the pleasure to meet her at an event.

    She was killed yesterday while trying to break her own land speed record.

    RIP to a really nice person, a talented gear head and someone who didn't leave anything on the table when it came to living life.

    She was down to earth, humble and friendly to everyone. The year she won KOH she stood around for hours taking pictures with anyone who wanted them. A real loss to the offroad world.
