The Izula folder is old news. You can get a folding knife now with a built in shovel and fancy racing stripes/fins to lower wind resistance. Get with the times.

As a dyed in the wool Fudd, I prefer my fixed handle trench shovel over a fancy Tupperware handled folder.

Izula folder first look! You asked for it, so we built it to dominate. MagnaCut and D2 blades meets Micarta scales on a Titanium & Ergal framelock. We didn't skimp on the modularity, either-deep carry clip with three screw configurations, brass lanyard, and your choice of a carbide glass breaker or flat. If you're at Blade Show Atlanta, get over to Booth #744 to handle the prototype in person and put it in your list to buy this fall.

It would be great if someone could snag a picture of the Medellin II AND Izula folder next to each other for comparison!

Thanks! Plan on picking up a Medellin II!

It looks like a nice blade for the price!
