..... hummmm I may have met him !! If not him I think he had relatives who lived in Snowtown South Australia !!!!
I've not watched it yet, but based on everyone talking about it I think I'll pass. I guess if you don't know anyone who keeps dangerous animals around, is absolutely a product of inbreeding and pays their employees with meth then it might be something new. I'm from Georgia so thats just... everyday. On a related note, most would be surprised by how easy it is to get large predators in some states, how little they cost (a cheaper full bred hunting dog is more expensive than a tiger cub) and how many folks out there have that type of thing in a chain link fence out back. Or in the house. Or just roaming the property. Unless Alabama had changed their laws in the last several years there are very few restrictions on "unique pets" other than those covered by Federal laws. If @Jeff Randall wants a tiger he wouldn't have to drive far to get one. And I'm not talking about the sanctuary place out near Collinsville.
Every time I buy one of those tigers or lions, I just end up turning them loose. Probably a dozen or so wandering these woods now.
Tigers and Lions were meant to be be free. Gallant closely resembles their native habitat. Plenty of dogs around here... well, there was.
It's like all the panthers lose here !!!!! Australia does really need some large carnivorous land based predators to keep it interesting !!
In all seriousness when I was a kid we used to see a large black cat very rarely at my grandparents place, at the edge of the tree line. Much too big to be a house cat.
We tried to watch it. Felt like we needed a shower after one episode. I don’t understand people. My wife started watching a YouTube show about a young couple that sailed around the world, “ Sailing la Vagabond”. I watch it some with her. It is pretty good.
I've watched some of that youtube series. For a little while I was trying to talk myself into a small sailboat. I found that it was best when I muted it and just enjoyed the scenery.
TV is difficult for me to understand especially Australians. I use the subtitles on most things but you are correct. The scenery is the best part. I like watching the girl swim with the long fins.
........ that's because they only put the most comical sounding ones on TV.... that said more than a few times (more on the West Coast of the US than anywhere else) I saw people looking at me blankly when I spoke.
............. "chooooooooooooot immmmmmmmmmmm" is about the only thing I understood watching 'Swamp People" ...
