Kidding aside, your blade is a masterpiece of design, IMHO.

If I stay here through next winter , I'll buy one.

This one could .. underscore could .. make your 1st $m.

Two other Q's (like T for temperature, Q for question):

    1) Is ESEE Forum the new Facebook?

And if so, will it steal/steel my private data?

    2) Is musique OK in this thread?

If so, I have a suggested track for this blade .. .

I think we'll keep it on topic in this thread, but feel free to start a music thread in this subforum. In case you weren't already aware, The Glitch Mob came out with a bunch of new stuff recently. :)

    Will do.

But what about the FaceBook question?

Forums are a different format than Facebook, and will not supplant it. Just like Twitter won't. :)

Of the 200x that were made available at introductory pricing we're now down to only 120. :D

Thanks for indulging my poorly-worded (late night just before sleep) question. I wasn't being trite, but ... trying to see more deeply into your business mind (which I don't have) about how Facebook and this forum are best used for projects like yours -- your innovative business strategy of design, testing, prototypes, then bootstrapping production of the finished design using reduced price pre-sales. I find that such an interesting and viable model, and I want to explore it for my own work, perhaps employing something similar. (You'll be invited to learn more about that soon, but I won't be doing it on this forum since I'm not designing blades ... )

So I have more to say about Facebook vs this (and other) forum, and want to read more of your perspectives about them, but I'll start a different thread in General Discussion (over the weekend when I have a bit more time), then invite you to it there so we don't clog this one up. :)

Well, you know me! I'm a problem solver and optimizer. And I'll fight tooth and nail to accomplish what I set my mind out to do. It ain't easy, but it's been working out pretty well so far! :D Facebook, forums, and other forms of social media (YouTube being notable) have been vital in countless ways, including customer relations management, marketing, reading the market, showcasing demonstrations and testing, making announcements, and so on.

Note to self: never piss off FortyTwoBlades if he's got one of those in his hand.

Glad you posted those photos. I know the dimensions and have measured it out on a stick of that length to get a sense of what that ... um, machete <ahem> looks and feels like.

But those offer much better perspective.

    Gotta say -- it's impressive.

Thanks. I like that company's clothing. I want one of their wool parkas, also.

(Edit to add: I confused that company with another with a similar name. They don't appear to sell a wool parka, but their gear looks quality.)

Here's the link to that sweater. Bookmarked while waiting for funds.

They've finished packing 'em up to ship and I'm just waiting on a total from them so I can pay for 'em and they can get shipping to us. :)
