Its such a sleeper blade. Looking at it i had several reservations but the more i use it the more i love it. Carrying it today.

I love the blade shape, but didn't think I would like the handle shape, it's growing on me with use though

Are those scales bone or wood? Either way they look great. They really give your JG3 a classic look.

My JG3 is probably my favorite knife ever. Just a great all around knife.

Thanks gentlemen!!! I hate them. Took em off. I can feel the wood flex at the pinch point. Just not the right wood for the project as it will break when you put any reasonable force of it. Gruesome fit to the blade too. It was a good fun project and skills work.

    Good break from sewing.

Even if they don't work take as many different pics as you can those scales look super sexy
Also IMO you have posted some of the best pics of the JG3 and the 2.5 and probably why I own the JG3 and have the 2.5 on its way; well I've wanted the 2.5 for a long time but held back cause I wasn't sure of the practical usage

I felt the same way. After seeing Mr Gibson use his neck knife and jg3 like he did it made me realize i wasnt doing things efficiently. That cr 2.5 is a great small game knife but its also one hell of a carver. Im not woodworker like those guys are but i can cut a try stick and thats all i want for now. You will love this little demon of a knife.
